Do you have Revit Architecture? Or do you have Revit OneBox which has all three flavors in one install? Revit OneBox is not like Building Design Suite, it simply wraps all the three different versions of Revit into one interface. Building Design Suite is a conglomerate of multiple software packages that adhere to the needs of a particular design market. It’s unofficially called “OneBox”. The Revit community understands what this term means.

The official term is simply “Autodesk Revit”. A little confusing, I know. You should have four templates there: Construction, Architectural, Structural and Mechanical, along with the default paths.

Is this what you have? You’re not being very clear on exactly what you issue is. Do you need a particular version of Revit or do you need the Templates? Then click on “Add or Remove Features” and this will let you run through the Content Packs that you’ll be needing. It’s a good idea to disable any Anitvirus or Firewall applications before you do this, since some of the content is downloaded over the internet. See if that helps you.
