Verified Purchase. I bought this after using Nero 8, foolishly thinking it would be big improvement. I read the previous reviews before I purchased it, so it was partly my own stupidity for not taking more attention of them.

During installation it insisted on loading and installing a version of. I spent over two hours, with the help of a Microsoft rep to finally sort it out, and this was before I actually got to try out the product. The conglomeration of programs included in this suite seemed to be an attemt to include anything that could be remotely connected with the burning and ripping sections I needed, and was a waste of hard drive space.

Don’t buy this unless you have an uncontrollable urge to fill up megabytes of hard drive with rubbish. My message to the producers – You had a good reputation, but this product will seriously dent it. Either get the product right before you release it, or stop releasing unpdates until you have something worth buying. I had used Nero demo’s before so I knew what it was like. A lot of reviews I have seen have slated it,but in my opinion it is the best software of its type.

There are a lot of freeware programs which have similar applications but Nero seems to have the best variety. I think it will be of great use for a long time to come and am quite pleased with the purchase no complaints about packing or delivery either.
