Once your direct feed is connected, statement lines will appear in your bank account in Xero ready for you to reconcile. If you’ve got PayPal set up as a payment service in Xero , or you use PayPal as a payment provider for your online store, set up a PayPal direct feed to get your transactions sent into Xero automatically.

Transactions will appear in your bank account in Xero every 12 hours, or you can manually refresh your feed to import the latest transactions. Set up a feed to automatically import transactions from your Stripe account into Xero. Once the feed is set up, you can reconcile your Xero transactions with the imported Stripe statement lines. You can set up a Stripe feed without having Stripe as a payment service in Xero. Stripe transactions will appear in Xero depending on your payout schedule and region Stripe website , which you can view on your Stripe dashboard.

To see if a bank feed is available for your bank account, add it in Xero and search your bank name. If your bank or financial institution appears in the search results, bank feeds are available for this bank. To check if your account is eligible for a direct feed, see the relevant support article for your bank. If there aren’t any feeds available for your bank account, manually import your bank statements. It’s designed to give you control over your financial data, as well as encourage greater competition in the banking industry.

This new type of connection is a direct bank feed. Users who use Open Banking connections need to renew their bank connection every 90 days. This is a requirement of the Open Banking standards. Tink acts as a messenger between your bank and Xero, enabling bank statements to import into your Xero organisation each day. Neither Tink nor Xero can move your money or see your credentials.

Philip, FYI — we use Santander and whilst the feed does not update it is available via refresh but only the account holder can do this. I would like to see the Guernsey based subsidiaries of the UK banks added to Yodlee. In some cases there RBSI and Barclays Wealth the retail banking platform has been added but not the institutional one. We use several Barclaycards that are set up under a corporate umbrella account. Has anyone successfully set up bank feeds for Barclaycards under this set up?

Xero and Yodel are failing massively to fix a bank feed problem with UK Barclays which has been unresolved for over a week. It shows a shocking weakness and unreliability with the service. Your email address will not be published.

Choose a different bank account if necessary, or add a new account. Each account should have a green tick before you click Continue. For bank accounts already in Xero, this will default to the last transactions imported into the account and there’s no need to change it. Click Finish. The user who originally set up the bank feed needs to enter their login details to resolve this problem. If that’s not you, please ask this user to login to Xero and enter their login details.

Logins are correct and I am able to log into client’s bank but Xero will not refresh with current data. This article is for small businesses who use Xero. Due to EU requirements , Yodlee feeds are no longer available for customers of banks based in the EU. Yodlee is an online banking solution provider that uses your online banking username and password details to retrieve bank transactions on your behalf. Xero will let you know if your login credentials need updating in Xero to match your online banking, or if your online banking account is locked, such as after too many failed login attempts.
